"Champain" (aka MaMa) is a gorgeous 15-year-old direct daughter of the famous, World Champion producing Paint stallion BARLINK MACHO MAN and out of a DOC TOM TUCKER/SKIPPER W bred mare. MaMa has the elegance, clean-lines, BIG HIP, slender shapely neck and beautiful head which the "Barlink" horses have been noted and admired for for many years. Add the cowy, athletic, quick and sensitive breeding of the DOC BAR line, and you have a truly beautiful, eye-catching horse that is also lots of fun for a good rider to enjoy. MaMa had some professional training and is very light in a snaffle bit; neck reins nicely; and is responsive to seat and legs aids. These last few years she has mostly been enjoyed on the trails and gone horse-camping, but she has also been well-started on cattle with four months of professional training, so should be a blast go to team sorting or pennings with. MaMa has respectful ground manners and is good to catch, lead, tie, bathe, clip, load and haul. This quality mare was used as a broodmare for quite a few years before being purchased by her current owner and trained to ride, so you could also use her as a broodmare. MaMa is being offered for sale due to her owner's health problems and subsequent selling of the ranch. She is current on all health care, shots, worming and hoof trimming and lives in central Oregon.
