Shady is a beautiful 5-year-old gray mare who very nicely bred, with PEPONITO by PEPONITA and POCO LIGHTING by POCO NOBLE close-up in her bloodlines. She has good, correct conformation with a nice head, plenty of muscle, powerful hindquarters and well-boned straight, sound legs. Shady is good to catch, lead, tie, and handle her feet/legs and she enjoys being groomed. She has had some round pen training and has worn a bareback pad to get her accustomed to a snug cinch, but has not actually been started under saddle yet. Shady is ready for a knowledgeable horseman to start seriously training and get to work. With her breeding, she should excel in any ranch or cattle work when trained; all she needs is a new owner to either train her on their own or send her to a professional. Shady is current on her shots and health care and lives in the Bend area of central Oregon.
