Bolero is SO gorgeous, with his rare and striking color and beautiful head, that you might overlook the fact that he also has excellent, balanced and correct conformation. He has just turned 6-years-old and is registered as a Half Arabian, since his sire was a Paint and his dam, a lovely purebred Arabian. Bolero has been in his current home since he was purchased as a long weanling. He had lots of imprinting, handling and ground work as a youngster, then was sent out for 90-days of professional training as a 4-year-old. Bolero has a trusting, sweet and friendly disposition and is also very intelligent. His ground manners are excellent; he is easy to clip, bathe, shoe, load and haul; and he has always been kept current on his tooth care, shots and worming. Bolero and his owner have logged over 400 miles while exploring new trails, crossing streams, and traveling through some steep and rugged terrain. He is level-headed, sure-footed, and is alert, willing, smooth and can go all day long. He is accustomed to dogs running around him on the trails, is good going down the road (is not frightened by logging trucks, irrigation sprinklers, flags fluttering, etc.) and has also been shown in one small, local "fun" show where he picked up four ribbons in English. Bolero could become your next show, trail or endurance horse; he is very athletic and should be able to compete in just about any discipline you will want to pursue. This exceptional gelding is ONLY being offered to a wonderful new home because his owner and her husband are moving and will then be traveling. Some tack is included with Bolero and several blankets can also be purchased for a very reasonable price. Bolero is sound, healthy, has no vices and lives in southern Oregon, in the Grants Pass-Medford area.
